SMS Terms & Conditions

Plymouth Rod & Gun Club (“PRGC,” “we”) offers an opt-in SMS program for members. These terms govern that program and are in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Program description

The PRGC Member Alerts SMS program sends text-message notifications to opted-in members about club business, including:

• Dues reminders and billing receipts
• Event registration confirmations and reminders
• Range closures, weather advisories, and safety alerts
• Meeting notices and member announcements
• One-time verification codes for account security

We do not send marketing or promotional third-party offers through this program.

2. How to opt in

You opt in to SMS messages from PRGC by enabling “Text message notifications” in your profile page of the member portal at plymouthrodandgunclub.com/portal/profile. A phone number on your account is required. The consent toggle is disclosed with the language: “Get dues reminders, event registration confirmations, and range alerts by text. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to unsubscribe, HELP for help. You can turn this off at any time.”

Your opt-in is recorded with a timestamp. Only members who have affirmatively opted in will receive program messages.

3. Message frequency

Frequency varies based on club activity and your registrations. Most members receive 4 or fewer messages per month. Billing cycles (quarterly dues) and event seasons may have somewhat higher volume.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging rates apply to each message sent or received. PRGC does not charge a fee for participation in the program.

5. How to stop (opt out)

You can stop receiving messages at any time:

• Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message. You will receive a final confirmation message and no further messages, except in direct response to your own inbound request.
• Turn off “Text message notifications” in your portal profile.

7. Supported carriers

The program is compatible with all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, and most regional carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed on all handsets or carriers at all times. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

Your phone number and the fact that you are enrolled in the SMS program are treated as member information under our Privacy Policy. We use Telnyx LLC as our SMS service provider. We do not share your mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

9. Changes

We may update these SMS terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, if significant to enrolled members, communicated in-program.
